Bringing together curator Carrie Scott, FAMM director Leisa Paoli, artist Cornè Theron and moderated by Julia Buchanan Swart, the conversation explores 'The Work of Peace: Art, and the Act of Seeing', reflecting on how art shapes cultural narratives of connection, attention, and peace.Evolving from Cornè Theron’s exhibition 'Passage', commissioned by the Musée du Pays de Sarrebourg, in celebration of the 50 year anniversary celebration of 'La Paix' by Chagall (his largest installation), the discussion considers looking as a form of responsibility, and art as a space where peace is actively built.
